We are excited to welcome our visiting artist, Abdoulaye Conde. He will be here from February 25th to 29th, presenting to our 2nd -5th grades about his life, culture, music, and art! His mural, Raining Wisdom, won the popular vote grand prize during the 2023 ArtPrize. He will share his life journey as an artist, play some music from his home country of Guinea, West Africa, on his Kora, and have students draw a piece of art inspired by his winning mural.If you are interested in learning more, here is a news piece highlighting Abdoulaye .
